Jyotirmai Vidya Mandir - A shool for boys & girls (4-12 years) from bustees aroung Jyotirmai Seva Mandir was started in January 2001. Together with academics in English medium, the students have classes in extra curricular activities i.e. art& craft, games, moral education, singing, yoga & general knowledge. At present, around 70 children are being benefited.

Montessori Teachers Training Course - A thorough training in the Montessory method  of education-theory & practical. Certification is given jointly by 'Jyotirmai' & 'Montessorians of Kolkata & classes are conducted by very senior Montessorians.

Adult Education - Vocational training for under-privileged women from nearby bustees is successfully being conducted. The students here learn cutting, stitching, tailoring & embroidery. These classes are conducted by 2 professional teachers. At present about 25 women are being taught.
