1962 : During the Chinese Aggression, 6740 gms of
gold, and financial assistance of Rs.50,000/- was given to the then
Hon'ble Chief
Minister of West Bengal, Mr.P.C.Sen. |

1965 : Flood victims of Bihar and Kashmir were
provided with blankets. In the same year, wells were dug for drought victims
of Rajasthan. |

1965 :
Financial assistance has been provided on a regular basis over the years
for the education of blind and needy children. |

|
1965 : India Pakistan War - A
mobile projector worth Rs. 25,000 plus 1 lakh blades & other things
worth 18,400 donated to the army. |

1973 : An equipped Ambulance for
pre mature children to the institute of child health. |
|
|
1973 : Rs. 50,000 to Bholagiri
Ashram for a printing press. |

1987 :
During our silver jubilee year a cheque of Rs. 25,000/- was
presented to Shri Jyoti Basu, the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of West Bengal for
the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

A mobile ambulance worth Rs. 3,40,000/- was give to the Military Hospital,
Calcutta. |

1996 - 97 : Dr. Ranvir Mukherjee, of Eye Care Research
Centre, Rs. 2 lakhs was
donated for a surgical bed for eye operations. |

1996 - 97 : For the welfare of Army widows Rs.
51,000/-
was given to Bengal Area Army Wives. |
|
|
1996 - 97 : Friends of Tribal Society was given Rs. 1 lakh for the construction of 2
schools in tribal areas, which are still being maintained by Jyotirmai
and Rs. 75,000/- was donated for the running of 10 schools. |

1997 - 98 : Rs. 50,000/- was donated to Mayor's Sports Benefit Fund. |
|
|
1997 - 98 : For the education of under-privileged
children a sum of Rs. 1 lakh was gives to CHIP (Child in Pain). |

1998 - 99 : In the
floods in Malda, goods worth Rs.70,000/- were distributed in 1998 |

1999 - 2000 :
During the Kargil war Rs. 2 lakh was given to the Army Centre Welfare
Fund in 1999. |

1999 : Rs. 25,000/- was donated to West
Bengal Governor's Benevolent Fund in 1999. |

1999 - 2000 :
During the Orissa Cyclone goods, utensils and clothes worth Rs. 1 lakh
was gives to the destitute in 1999. |

2000 - 01 : In the floods in Bengal, in 2000-01 Rs. 1 lakh worth of goods were
donated. |

2001 - 2002 :
A cheque of Rs. 12.5 lakh was gives to the Confederation of Indian
Industries (CII) in aid of the Gujarat Earthquake victims.

Our list of donations also includes the supply of free wheel chairs and
artificial limbs for disabled people and spectacles to the poor.
